Too much Easter fun. Who said finding eggs was easy? I snapped this after dinner on Easter Sunday. He ate his plate, had a peep covered cupcake and then disappeared. This is where, and how I found him. They are so sweet when they sleep!
To add to their fun, they are on spring break this week. The weather has been especially nice so far, for which I'm thankful. Who wants a weeks worth of stir crazy bored kids? While I work and the Hubs sleeps they have been at their Grandmother's house "spring cleaning." They have to drag trash bags around the yard and collect debris, sticks, and old toys left out under the snow all winter. They are less than thrilled. So, after one day my daughter calls me at work and asks to have a friend spend the night. Whatever. Well, I have learned to screen friends now. We will just call her little girlfriend "most likely to be pregnant by 13!' Holy crap. The clothes alone scared me. She talked about stuff no eight year old should know of and when they decided to create a dance routine, I swear a close personal family member has got to be a stripper. There is no other explaination. Who lets their children act like that? Now this morning the youngest asked to have a friend over tonight. I know his friends. I'm good with that, and little boys are so different. They could give two hoots about clothes, just give them Matchbox, swords, flashlights, bugs, etc.....
I bought a Kindle a few weeks ago. I'm starting to LOVE the thing! No more waiting for new books to appear at the library. No more paying 25$ plus for new books I can't stand to wait on at the library. Instant access to the book I buy online. No downloading. Easy to keep at my desk with no one being the wiser. I still haven't figured out all the bells and whistles but, oh well. I may stop buying so many paper books. Probably not though. It's an addiction!
